We speak at various women's groups and many names come from those gatherings. Some cancer care organizations send us names of those they feel deserve what we offer. When we contact the women, our questions are about the type and treatment of their cancer. If they are selected, what would they most enjoy doing? And we ask them to obtain their doctor's okay for them to do whatever they have selected.
Next there is a panel of five women in the Foundation who will be evaluating all of the nominees to decide who will be taking the next visit to their dream destination. We would love to send everyone all at once, but the panel will decide who goes next. We’ll keep doing all we can for these women for however long it takes for us to run out of candidates . . . which we hope means that cancer has been cured.
Once we have approval of the doctor our travel coordinator will take it from there. All the trips are first class with only the best hotels, finest restaurants, and the best of whatever else our guest requests. It’s all expenses paid for our guests. The moment they board the limo for the airport until the limo takes them back home, all they need to do is relax, enjoy, smile, and let us do all the work.
Each woman will have a choice of international or domestic travel, spas, sight seeing tours, shopping, concerts or again, whatever she wishes to see for do. We’re going to make it happen.
When you give to The Pink Pajama Traveling Club Foundation you are truly giving the gift of a lifetime. If you know of someone who you would like us to consider for one of our trips please, email us, tell us a little bit about her, and we will be happy to reach out to her.
Thank you so much for taking time to read about what we are doing and bless you for your help.
